Siddar or Great saints are not medicine men alone as mistakenly thought by most people. We tend to have this traditional impression of them as boon givers and as those who can heal. True to some extent...

Sittam,,means what.."exceptional thinking or problem solving skills beyond and above expectations or simply..mind blowing IQ level to stete in modern terms..hence Siddar should appropriately come by the meaning of someone who can have this ability.

Siddha ('Great thinker/wise man', Sanskrit, "perfected one") is a term that is used widely in Indian religions and culture. It means "one who is accomplished". It refers to perfected masters who have achieved a high degree of physical as well as spiritual perfection or enlightenment.

Agreed? Yes :) and not be confused with Rishis( Seers)

Siddars are those who achieved their current condition and status by various means of bhakti plus their own independent research on the areas of their expertise i.e herb identification..alchemy and medicine..astrology and space...and so on..

From exceptional dedication and immovable faith in finding the truth beyond the veils of Maya..these siddars prevailed...and thats why they in most cases people who encountered them describes them as mad or unravelling...they see the world in its true form just like from the movie matrix...

Anyway..here are some interesting things siddars can accomplish:-

1. To become tiny as the atom within the atom (Anima)
2. To become big in unshakeable proportions (Mahima)
3. To become as light as vapour in levitation (Laghima)
4. To become as heavy as the mountain (Garima)
5. To enter into other bodies in transmigration (Prapti)
6. To be in all things, omni-pervasive (Prakamya))
7. To be lord of all creation in omnipotence (Isatvam)
8. To be everywhere in omnipresence (Vasitvam)

Times of trial...

The current age..where the race is on to solely satisfy material needs which most believe can realise personal dreams and in most cases the expectation..But tagging along is the implied natural terms where in order "to gain something..you have to lose something". Most of the times we tend to give up precious things that makes a difference in life..things that cant be replaced or bought back by any material means...

Time..Love..Care..Affection are the ingredients that nurture the same kind of returns to us from our loved ones..Children..spouse..parents..siblings...these immediate people are the orbs of light that circles the heart while it still beats..I'm not sure about the rest of the world but in my case this is what i treasure..the amazing memories of childhood..teenage..close buddies and among many others that seems like a fairy tale..now.

Sadly today..without material acquisition there can be no peace for an average citizen from a normal household..Where bread and butter were a vital necessity those golden days ..material gains are assimilated as a must nowadays..is inevitable. Marriage..love..setting up family..no of children...all is determined by how capable you are in terms of wealth. The design of the new age society is such that the world will be a dark and gloom place to live in without adhering to its rules. Imagine fall sick to a serious illness and you need treatment..Everyone knows that getting into the doors of private medical facilities is like getting ready to dump your entire life earnings and savings on one single expense..unless you are covered by insurance policy of course. You can see the web of designs that this needs that and vice versa to operate and to secure yourself. 

In the race to "secure" they leave behind trails of  pain for them self and others ..because in the end of the road..there are no one there..with actual care and love at heart ..Most will only eye the material possession that you will leave like a hungry pack of wolves waiting to feed. You fail to plant the seeds of good values in them..You gave them material needs and they are just doing that..who you going to blame?

I wish to leave this dark world which i feel i never belong in the first place, wish to live somewhere cold mild climate..in a cottage surrounded by cows..chickens and dogs..A small town within a kilometre with ample of natural foods and nice folks...Surrounding countryside with wild beds of flowers where i can wake up to the sound of clear streams of fresh water running between green shrubs and rocks..Imagine watching your kids dancing in the mellow evening sun among sun flower beds with honeybees accompanying them ..Life will be a dream sitting beside the love of your life beside you...nudging each other while watching the moon with dark blue sky with full of silver stars..

Maybe in another life time...
